As the premier Association for the staffing industry in Illinois, one of our main focal points is legislation. Adverse legislation impacts our industry dramatically and the ISA is committed to a pro-active stance when it comes to monitoring the Illinois Legislature. In addition to numerous legislative awareness events throughout the year and monthly newsletter updates, we employ a full time lobbyist dedicated to monitoring issues and building industry recognition in Springfield.

The ISA has also developed a PAC fund to support specific legislators who are influential in supporting our industry. We understand the importance of legislation to our business and although it’s not the most glamorous topic, it can have the greatest impact of any issue on the way we do business. With the current economic climate, and the change in leadership in Springfield, we must be increasingly diligent in this area. As a member of the ISA you will be kept informed as to what is happening, and more importantly, what you can do about it. When we speak with one voice, we are a very powerful industry.
